Italy Valley HG launch faces (S)SE and is located near Italy, NY. Launch is at approx 750 ft above the valley LZ below, which is itself at approx 1,150 ft ASL. The valley LZ is narrow into the wind but quite wide. There are also top landable fields behind launch. The launch is a steep slope out of a fairly narrow launch slot. The site can handle SSE- ESE winds. You must be a member of the RAF (Rochester Area Fliers) HG club to fly the site. Yearly dues are $60 - short term flight passes are available.
