Overview
Big Walker is located close to Mechanicsburg, VA.
History
The mountain has been flown since the 70s.
Geography/Meteorology
Big Walker is a mountain site and can be flown in ridge lift. The valley is a good thermal producer. Walker has an easy slot launch and would be an H2 site if it weren't for the LZ.
Clubs/Owners/Manager
The Skywacker club currently manages the site. Please contact Richard Cobb or another local pilot before flying.
Site Records
69.1 miles by Steve Conner. Wayne Sayer tied Steve's record when he flew to North Carolina.
