If you can't find the right zipper slider at the store, you can usually "repair" the one you have.
Set a piece of heavy paper over the closed zipper teeth, and back the slider down until the paper is inside zipper slider. Set the slider flat on a wooden board, and put a drive punch (old screwdriver) vertically on the slider, above the paper. Tap the punch with a light hammer. Put the punch on the other side of the pull-tab, and tap down the other side of the slider, equally. Run the zipper slider up, and remove the paper.
The slider should be barely snug on the zipper teeth, but not tight. If you went too far with the hammer, use a very small screwdriver to wedge open the back of the slider, slightly. Place the small screwdriver next to the zipper teeth, and run the slider back down on the screwdriver, like a wedge. Do not pry with the small screwdriver, or you may damage the zipper teeth.
Lubricate a closed zipper with two swipes of hard clear wax (NOT soft, oily candle wax). Some people insist on spray lubes for zippers; bad plan. If you must use that stuff, spray it on a paper towel first, and *wipe* the paper towel on just the zipper teeth, without touching any cloth with the paper towel.
