Just some pics of taken by me and of me by Erip P, my driver for the day. (See the OLC entry and download the KML here)

My Launch felt pretty good to start the day.

Looking down on Tom P, just south of the field.

I spent way to much time here waiting around for others. I could have been 20 miles down wind before they made it here.

Still waiting.......

28 miles later, after I got stuck low, Eric was there to snap a few pics of me coming in. thankfully I had a decent landing!

My flare was early and weak, but I held it.

A satisfied customer!

My track is dark blue, Larry's is light blue. John's track would follow close to mine, but end up closer to Larry's ending. You can see the start of the trees and where I stalled out. Just didn't feel comfortble going in with the altitude I had.

Look how green everything is!
This past winter seemed to last forever.

And nice landing, it would be a shame to have dried corn stalks poke holes in such a fine wing.

Good looking glider. Those are the official colors of Disney's "It's A Small World" ride. Nice.

Thanks! Lobido I did know that, but this was pure chance on the colors (3rd hand glider and all)!

The camera I used in the air was a Kodak C875 (I paid $200 for it 3 years ago). It has proven to work well, but often doesn't get a clear focus. You have to take a bunch of shots to get a few good ones.
The pics of me were taken by another club member with his Nikon D300, one of those real expensive DSLRs!
