Thanks,
I found it... on the a650 you have to bring up the scripts menu by pressing the direct print button... loaded it from file there.
The irony, wifey hates this camera cuz it's too big (LOL) and the shutter delay.

yeah, that button on my camera toggles the extra features on and off
...I haven't seen a point-n-shoot digital camera that didn't have nasty shutter delay.

that shutter delay is death.
I think I need to teach missus KK how to use the nikon d50. No shutter delay, 3 frames per sec, and optics that blow PNSs away.
I think I will set up my sd5 on one wing, this cam on the other, those are quick and easy setups, for stock footage. It adds maybe 3-4 minutes to setup.
The other thing is, I think I will make the security cam into a helmet cam. The logic there is: If I see some YGBSM moment, it will be recorded. I'll probably can 90% of the footage. But, when I saw Gene the tumbling machine (Gene is biwingwal and tumbled a spectrum) fall 10 feet from an asymmetric collapse on the back of Marshall, I found myself wishing that I had had a cam on my bean.
Back to the thread, this hack fits well into the "quantity has a quality all its own" maxim of V.I. Lenin. Chuck the cam on your wing, start the pics, check 'em that night, toss 98% of them, but the last 2% will be golden.
3 thumbs up for this post.

Rafaelcjr,
WOOO HOOOooo!
Works great on my Canon A630! They *might* have told a guy that after everything is installed, the "program" starts and stops with the shutter release, but for free, I'll TAKE it, as is...
WONDERFUL find!

So I got it set up on my SD700IS. Pretty damned cool.... Only problem is it doesn't reliably take pictures. Occasionally (seems to depend on shutter speed/light exposure) it'll freeze before taking a picture and require a power on/off. This would be a total pain in the arse because I'm sure the brightness/light exposure will be pretty variable when flying. Will have to dig into the basic script and see if I can munge it to work on my camera. Anyone else having this issue?

you talking about the Unlimited Interval Shooting script? Yeah I've seen this happen. It seems to work more often than not though.

| Wow, so cool, thank you for posting this. I have actually been meaning to create a post asking if anyone knows of any digital cameras out there that can do exactly this! Gawd I love this place!!!

Seems like it doesn't work more often than it does on my model. I'll probably tinker w/various modes for focusing/etc as it seems to be some sort of race condition... Just don't have a lot of time to muck with it, but it would be damn cool to get it to work!

Here is an animated GIF created from theTime Lapse pictures of the fligth
using this freware program
http://www.download.com/PhotoScape/3000-2192_4-10703122.html?tag=dl.1
I made the mistake of setting the Interval too high at 30 secs,
and did not catch most of the launch and none of the landing
next time I will try the minumum 5 sec interval
Just got to do a short morning/afternoon sled ride.
(that will be about 180-200 pics - 12 picts a minute x 15 mins )
On a side note:
One of the pictures captured DocSoc in the background, showing off his "puppy"

After a failed attempt yesterday, I got the interval shooting to work. (There seems to be a bug where the camera freezes up when the script tries to take the picture. This seemed to only happen when there is a lot of light, like outdoors. Turning off the auto flash fixes the problem. Thanks KK)
Here are the results. I set it to take a picture every minute. Seeing as how the software is a bit buggy I didn't want to get greedy and ask too much of it. The pictures look great and next time I will set it to every 20 seconds or so.
...also, I didn't use my wide angle lens for this flight. I wasn't sure if it would mess up the focus. Next time I will try the wide angle

Awesome! Thanks for figuring out the problem for me! Hopefully this'll work on my cam too!

Sorry it isn't working out for you.
Though I have tried both glider types, I would like to hear your description of the differences, pro and con, Sport 2 versus your Falcon.
