I expanded my landing compilation into 4 x 10 minute parts. The extra space shows approaches and a few comments and less-than-perfect landings.

It's pretty much every durned landing I have on video.

I did not do it for entertainment, though that's an ancillary benefit. I think they add up to a decent training tool. No sound on the third... woops... but there's nothing earth-shattering on the soundtrack.

Enjoy:

Very good videos knumbknuts, thanks heaps for all of your work putting these together.

A comment about the landings why do nearly all of the people come down with their legs apart. Are they not taught over there to have your ankles crossed on approach to keep your centre of gravity stable?

With legs open your centre of gravity ends up all over the place as your legs flay from side to side and as such control of the glider is so much harder to maintain.

We have to come in with legs akimbo so that we can control the glider in our big American thermals.
