After 4 years and almost 600 post I am leaving this forum due to personal attacks. This forum has turned very hostile with 5-6 users harrassing others just for the sake of it. The forum lacks moderation so they noone's stopping them.

Did you ever consider the Aeros Discus? I love that glider, but it seems like too much of a jump going from the Target.

I think Søren and myself are in a similar position, both considering the Space. I did have the dilema regarding Target to Discus. I considered that may be a bit too much of a leap at this point in my flying career. I have wondered why Aeros don't have something between these two gliders?

I agree, there is a gap in their product line. To illustrate another example, the Icaro website now says they are bringing back their Laminar Easy, since pilots were demanding something between the Relax and the Orbiter.

Thanks for the info Soren!

Is it just me or does the Space look a bit like a Sport 2? Confused

It doesn't really.
The Zippers are different.
The trailing edge is more "S cut" than the Sport 2.
The Uprights are rounds, as is the speed bar.
No Sprogs
It , might just be these pictures, but it looks like the aspect ratio is a bit smaller also.
I'd have to say it is a completely different animal! (In looks anyway!)

DOH! I knew that, even went back and looked, and still posted it! Goes to show you shouldn't believe anything I say!

The Sport 2 is about 6.4, so not far off I guess. I suppose it is the pictures that make it look squishy!

A couple of French reviews here:

http://www.delta-club-82.com/bible/769-hang-glider-space.htm

Basically reads a thumbs up!
Light and easy to rig.
Needs a bit of speed to start a turn.
Landing very easy with a large flare window.
(well if I translated the French stuff correctly or not!).
