Cool thread. Here's a pic of my Chocolate lab, Sam. She is a bird dog and it was funny to see her react to my flying that big bird down the training hill! BTW, the wife put that darn "cute" colllar on my poor bird dog...

| I know right, but I swear on my life that isn't photoshopped or edited in any way. I have never understood why the shadow looks like that, especially considering he doesn't have floppy ears! It must be the angle of the light. I took that one back in 2005 and dig it out every year around this time. Always brings a smile to my face. This is what the trick or treaters saw when I opened the door.

Tom- what kind of snake is that, and is he IN your house?! I guess that was a good post for me to see on Halloween... I'll be having nightmares about "blackie"
Back on topic, not my dog, but check out the HG calendar this year for a shot of local pilot Dan McTandem and his dog Shadow. Shadow loves to fly so much he jumps in Dan's truck and brings his harness to Dan asking to take him up. Very cool!
Shadow probably has more airtime than most H2's, and many H3's!

My new dog, he's a border collie,
Blue: |
Well, the good news / bad news...:
He turned out great except for a few things, with no fenced yard, he'd be gone for half a day or more, he grew bigger than the size advertized to be, instead of under 30lbs, he ended up over 40lbs. Almost twice the size of my blue heeler, and seemed to want to play with other dogs his size... So I put him up for adoption and some folks with a border collie that was close to his size an age took him for a playmate. An he left me with a littler of 3 pups, that I've already found homes for and I guess I'm keeping this girl on the left with black over one eye.
The bad news is I haven't thought of a good name for her yet?)

Reviving this thread, because I got a new friend a while ago.
He's growing up fast.

They ARE cuddly! Blueberry's super soft, and also really interesting to watch. He piles dirt up in his enclosure and builds hammocks out of web and moves objects around. Little architect.
