"Air Races set primary date August 25th, if unflyable Sunday 26th".....
Follow it here and on the Fort Funston BBS....

We can all try to keep this thread updated...
(there was no mention of the Dan Murphy BBQ, not sure if it is planned for the same date or not)

Oh...there'll be trash talk and lots of it!
I'll be volunteering at the Westlake turnpoint this year...dropping fingerbangs at everyone who flies by and judging color-coordination as always.

Diev is a slow pilot with marginal launch skills and can barely land any of his old, beat up gliders. And he smells like toast. And, CRV?... Well, he's no better.

Hey wait a minute, were you talking trash about me?.....yesterday
Better watch it or I might just put a camera inside your glider to watch YOUR stock sprogs....then get you to fly SLOW with full VG...
Of course this would only happen in YOUR world though...so we would never EVER see it...even if you had cameras all around your world...
Good luck at the races...

Thanks to all the Fellow Feathers who helped out. I heard pilots saying this was one of the best days in at the fort in months.
Short list,
Tom Rust - Meet Organizer
Tracy AKA Lady Hawk - Organizer / Registration
Joy - Registration / Sticker girl
CRV Turn Point Official
Diev - Launch Director / Cool Camera Man
Please add to list if you know the great people manning the BBQ grills, Timers and other helpers.
Special thanks to the guys helping me do over 20 free tandem flights for the spectators and pilots friends and family.
Tandem Pilot List,
Paris Williams
Ben Dunn
Zac Majors
Mike Jefferson
I almost forgot, we had hundreds of flights on a strong day with loads of people and not one bent piece of aluminum. Great job to all the pilots who attended. _________________ MIke Jefferson

Something like 50 gliders there including a few in the air. _________________ Mountains always have the right of way.
