First categories:
You don't need to qualify to participate in a category 2 (CAT 2) event, often refered to as "Open" but you DO need to have a license qualifying you to compete AND a FAI sporting license (Wich you'll only get if you have the proper level of license)
For a Category 1 event (Worlds) you need to be qualified, that means among other things, ranked with over 20 points on the CIVL ranking for 3 consecutive years. That means that you'll have to participate and do well in a lot of Cat 2 events first.
Discipline:
Mostly we fly cross country, but also aerobatics and speed run competitions are sometimes arranged. Click on class 1 (flexwings) and all events will show.
hope this helps |
