The Andy Jackson Airpark Anniversary Fly-In is this Saturday, July 7, 2012.
Owen Morse has informed us that the XC Ranch, adjacent to the AJX LZ, will very generously offer free camping for pilots and their guests for the weekend.
The new pond at the Ranch, which supplies the water that keeps the LZ green, will also be open for swimming. The pond is clean and deep. Warm at the top, cold 14 feet down. Ringed with rocks and has a view of the valley and the LZ because it's a couple of hundred feet higher than the LZ.
The usual great flying will be on hand, plus things like food, beverages, cameraderie, etc. The dinner will be catered BBQ and donations will be greatly appreciated.
