We had a pilot 10 years ago whose nick name became " Jump Jet" after he was picked up when he was 3rd in line to launch off Mt. Harrison's 9,200'msl launch.
He was already hooked in and waiting in line with more pilots behind him. He went straight up 20' pulled in and flew over the other pilots and went out front and climbed out!
Very lucky things worked out. Wildest thing to watch! JJ has since stopped flying, but not due to that launch. _________________ Blaine

Holy cow.
Compare to those nice soft paraglider landings at 2:15 and 2:22-- no wonder they say hang gliders and strong thermic conditions are not a good mix--
(kidding!)
