What up guys,
Kevin (the Birdman) from Birdman Academy here in Utah.
So I entered into this silly contest. I have 150 votes and need another 100 votes today to potentially qualify for a grant for $250,000.
Not very many businesses qualify by meeting the minimum vote requirement.
One thing I would like to do is be able to start towing.
This grant would help me do that.
One of the things I have wanted to do since starting Birdman Academy is to fly the people of ABLE Pilot (disabled veterans) who are currently learning to paraglide. I would like to open hang gliding to them, thus the need for towing. And towing would be awesome for Utah. Seriously.....
SO voting is really easy. You need a facebook account. I know, if you think fb is evil; its ok. You don't have to use fb, just have an account to vote. Making one takes about 30 seconds.
so here is what you do.
go to missionsmallbusiness.com
bottom right of the screen, login with FB to support
*you have to allow fb access to get to the voting page. You can deny permission after you vote by going to apps and settings and removing access after.
search for Birdman Academy, in Utah, under the #of cities option.
If you search for salt lake or Draper you probably won't find it. Look in # of cities.....
After you vote you can logout of facebook (in a different browser), close the other browser, have whoever else that is there log in with facebook, and they can vote too.

Please help me make this happen, this can make hang gliding in Utah way more awesome than it already is!!!

| Don't get me wrong but this doesn't sound right. First post on this site. Face book? Voting? 250,000 dollar grant? Veterans? Last day to vote. Who are you? Sorry, but I am not buying it. |

http://birdmanacademy.net/ is the link for the website, I have not heard yet if they got the votes needed, I hope so. I wish that they had got the word out sooner.
