This is the first time I've put a camera on my wing. Watch the shadows for the west component of the air! Enjoy.
Other pilots:
Curtis Faulconer - Sensor 610 (with 710 upgrade)
Jerry Accardo - WW Sport 2

Nice Video! Will you start flying with a camera more often now? _________________ Wills Wing U2 160

Blindrodie, That was a fun ride. I like flying low over the trees because it just gives a really nice sensation of flying like in your dreams. Nice clip and great job bro.

Amazing. There's a 300 foot hill in Kansas? Who knew.
But it looks like you make the most of it. Was that a 5 minute flight from a 300 foot launch? Pretty dam good I'd say. |

Total airtime on this ride was 36 mins. I was plum worn out after that! The local young Eagles come over with their parents and drop their talons and dive on us all mean lookin but they always veer off.
We have gained several thousand feet off this hill no problem. Thermals come booming across that wide valley on good daze.
The ridge faces north and on daze with too much west air it's dangerous to launch. So if you get up and it switches (like it did for a few hours) after you launch
the flights are low and "active" to say the least. I've been hit by some stuff that hurt my elbows after the punch!
If you look at a map of Kansas in the extreme NE corner there is a section of the state that is a little upside down "U". The river goes north, then west, then south and forms a 2.5 mile long bluff that faces near due North.
In this short we were only on the west end as without straight in north it's risky
to jump the gap that I keep turning back from. Jerry just doesn't mind walking all the way back to the car if he gets flushed. Young-ins...
