Jonathan,
Thanks for reposting a great video. The move you missed during that flight was not staying on the spine after Dickey peak.
At the 7 min mark you should have gone straight down the ridge to Challis. By 7:38 in the vid you still probably had time to get back in the top. But by 8:15 it looks like you were on your final glide?
There is always better lift over the top than out front. They don't call it Victory Ridge for nutin! Next time stay over the top!
Hey, Everyone!
With only 22 entries right now, your odds of a placing are better than ever! With two weeks to go, I'm expect there to be between 30-40 pilots by the start...
The open class has three rigid wings, one of which is a Millennium. The rec class has 11 entries.
So..... It's not too late to plan a trip. _________________ Blaine

Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body.
But rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out and broken, shouting
"Holy Crap, WHAT A RIDE !!"

By none other than Rick Masters! I recently watched Aoli, Comet Clones and Pod People for the first time in 31 years and really liked the guitar tracks in addition to the film. Rick indicated it was him and I found a video of Rick on his 12-string. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
