I'm getting a new glider, and it's loooong. It's a Falcon 3 tandem and it won't fit along a wall in my garage like my other gliders - it's going to have to go diagonally!
So, how have you solved this problem? Pictures are a plus!
Thanks for the help.

is everyone on the org a comidian? really, a hacksaw ? on a new glider? if there is an attic you could cut a hole in the wall, andgo at it on a diagonal , there is always outside, in a tube. or my favorite, your parents house. whatever you do, don't store it at your ex's house. good luck and congrats on the new bird. don't you love the sound of loud dacron? Ok, so mabey we are all comidians, but I still love the org. good air at you

Not the best solution, but better than a hacksaw:
Pull the rear LEs out just beyond the sleeve, then 'semi-short-pack'
I just learned of a crispy hardly-flown F2 Tandem in Vegas for $2500.

if it will fit in diagonally, just hang some slings in each corner of the garage. put one on each end, then once its hanging add others in the middle to fully support it

Thanks everybody. I'm going to try the hacksaw approach first. Then if it still doesn't fit I'll try the canoe hoist!

Yosoytupadre,
Cut a round hole in the back wall of the garage, and press a tapered plastic garbage can into the hole, from the inside.
Install screws through the top flange of the can, into the surrounding wall.
A tall can should give you enough extra length for the glider (but check that out, first).
Cheap, easy and weatherproof.
Add straps from the trusses to support the other end of the glider.
Seat belts are good "hangar" straps.

Red, That's Brilliant! My wife says that the trash can looks terrible sticking out into the living room!

Yosoytupadre,
Oh, well, if it goes into the living room, just cut the hole, and forget the can. Your wife can put hanging plants around it, to conceal the nose of the glider.
Can you tell, I'm single?
