I just talked to him.

He needs some positive reforcement. I did get him to laugh telling him that I watch the video of him again.

I have confident he will be back but it will be a long road to recovery.

Doug,
I have not met you before but hope one day will, I’m new to the sport and in the other coast in south Florida but I have seen you in multiple videos alongside your gang of happy flyers, I have spend countless hours watching you and your pals landings and pilot and friends gatherings at your LZ and I’m pretty sure everyone can relate to the awful funk feeling when a comrade in fun gets hurt. My admiration and applause for those brothers in arms who without hesitation sprung into action to help you get out of your wreck and out of that water and my best wishes and prayers for your total and speedy recovery.
We all have that wild Eagle spirit that drives and bunches us together in this sport, keep up that spirit high and heal your wings, the launch and your friends will be there waiting for you man.

THANK YOU BROTHER, IM SURE OUR PATHS WILL CROSS..

Rotor, I read the thread and all I gotta say is whole-e-s***! I'm glad that you had people around that had your back and dragged you outta there. I had a good time flying with you at the howl last year and I'm so glad to hear that you're well and that you're chasing nurses!

Where are the hot nurses that usually accompany a 'get well soon' thread? Keep working hard man!
