You and your best bud have just both set personal record XC flights this day.
You are both stone cold, bone tired on a long, long drive home and tomorrow is another epic big task day. You need some good tunes to keep you awake.
This is the tune quietly playing in your deck or on the LCD, putting your best bud into a deep restful sleep beside you. Turn the volume DOWN! Uh huh!
A touch of Canadian humor from one that has never sold out to the Yanks. Followed by some great music from our all time greatest musical talent.
- stick around, its really worth it. From the "Listen Up" Series.
"Garnet is a master of delivery, and knows how to pick and pen songs to deliver." Jack Cole, Old Chestnuts Song Circle Newsletter
"Night Drive is a remarkable achievement for a musician known for his passionate, powerful performances, his profound and moving Iyrics, his amazing voice, and his stellar musicianship. The recording weaves through a provocative combination of tunes that cut to the bone - emotionally and musically."
I spend 3 - 4 months in OZ each year avoiding all thoughts of winter. Kasey Chambers is a new young rising star in the Country Music scene. Gotta have this in the deck when you are down there. She is from the Gunnedah / Tamworth region within spitting distance of the Manilla Flying Site.
NEW Update Kasey Chambers. Album: Carnival. Song: Nothing at All. Click through the on-screen embedded link to get to her Official Video.
As for music, I always enjoyed the guitar playing of Alvin Lee. Great talent
As for the messages well they are taxing producers for some time and the recipients are taking the money, vacationing in OZ and laughing all the way to the bank
I wish I could go but i need to go to work so I can be tax to death and subsidize.
Enjoy and fly far...

Hey Dennis, I play the stringed ones. I'm focused on bass and acoustic guitar lately. My boy plays everything in the room, but mostly drums, electric guitar, synth and bass. He and his buddies record their stuff at our place. My wife plays the keyboard and flute. We sing and are are in a few amatuer bands. I like to jam.

He walks onto a stage, the lights come on and the audience sees racks and racks of dozens of stringed instruments... then quietly waits for the band to walk on. Nope. It is a one man show. He plays every instrument, loving the totally different sound in every song.
Awesome, awesome concert. Melt your heart out stuff. Take the wife or hubby. You will get good good lovin' for that. Trust me.

The only better rendition I have ever heard of Waltzing Matilda was the for real version Mel Gibson sang at the opening ceremonies of Australia's Rugby State of Origin match a decade ago. Tore your heart out stuff. Can't find a video link for it anywhere, much is the shame and sadness. Stunning, from the heart rendition from (of all people) a movie star. Man what a voice.
