No wait, this is crazy. Or is it...

Urrgh!

no no, I can't go, I've got work and no holidays left. I could quit...

No, really, it's a nice idea but I just can't.

So...

It happens that I'm going to be in town from August 12-15, and there will be a glider on my roof. Conditions have been disappointing in my neck of the woods, and I'd like to get some airtime! From what I understand, 3.5 days should yield at least one good flying day in the SLC/Draper area--yes?

Who should I get in touch with for site intro/advice on when/where to fly? Do I need a sticker? Anything else specific I need to know?

I'll be spending a night or two in Reno on the way back. I'd like to give Slide a try as well.

Any contact info/advice for either area would be appreciated!

Cheers

-matt

I'm running a clinic that weekend as well, so I will be unavailable... perhaps one of the locals can help you out...

Read about Slide on the flying sites tab at the top of the page. Info and site rules are there.

I just completed a Mountain Clinic with Wings Over Wasatch last week. Highly recommended you folks get in on this upcoming weekend's Clinic! "Above and Beyond" service in terms of extra time (even extra days) Ryan put in, classroom and video analysis learning opportunity, and more!

Utah is Centrally Located in "The Cross Roads of the West"

DRIVING TIME from:
L.A. = 10 hours
Las Vegas = 5 hours
San Francisco = 11.5 hours
Denver = 8 hours
Seattle = 14 hours
