We've been having a great week up here at King. The flying has been outstanding. I've posted some daily scores if anyone is interested.

Third place cummulative in the Rec Class. Nice job!
Make sure you spend several hours each night boasting and talking down to everyone ACP style. I suggest walking up to various groups in the camping area, laying down a stream of rapid fire finger bangs, and then insulting their heritage, flying ability, and clothing. You might want to consider crushing a beer can with your forehead just to prove you mean business.
When they all stare at you with that look of confusion and pitty, say "That's what I thought!", strut away with your chest out, and go sit by yourself somewhere.
That will show them just how cool you are and they will respect you more for it. _________________ Brian F

No kidding, I'm wishing I'd done this instead of Lakeview.

I showed up at King mountain, got to meet Spark and his buddy Billy, as well as John Heiney. Wish I could've stayed beyond the afternoon. Spark is one of the good guys. Sorry I missed NME Rider. _________________ I keep cuttin' it and cuttin' it, but it's still too short.

The 'Epic Spuds' were the winning team and I am proud to say that I was a member and expect to return next year with the same crew. I hope to see more pilots out. It's a great meet.

I updated with the most recent results. Some great pilots and flying conditions this week. I've only been flying for a few years now, but I can say without a doubt that I have learned more about flying in the last 2 seasons at King than anywhere else. Their is a unique camaraderie among pilots who fly the meet at King, and great support for newer pilots. I can't see myself missing a year.
Dave flew an outstanding week, Kurt flew furthest in 4 of the 6 days, Scot Huber flew more actual miles over the six than anyone else in the meet, NME (that is Dietch right?) was throwing down nearly every day, and KM and Joe Evens did what they always do (bad to the bone). Talented pilots at an epic site in stellar conditions.
(Noman, that's a sucker bet!)
I had some personal bests, but also found my wheelhouse at Pass Creek a couple times, I should just start paying rent there... _________________ Half the skill, twice the Ego - ACP
