Lets get some of your examples
1- "men" that don't know which wheels are their drive wheels just by driving
2- "men" that can't look under their car and tell in .01 seconds which wheels are their drive wheels
3- "men" that can't put chains on, or worse yet, put them on wheels that aren't their drive wheels

I my defense, I don't know how to put chains on. But yea, thats not something we do a whole lot here in the south...
But on topic, I know what you're saying. Most of my friends would much prefer a nice sit down office job over actually *gasp* working. Men are being pushed to become very feminine, i.e. dress nice and stylish and be touchy/feely, ect.

My wife says there aren't any real men anymore, except me of course.
You see it all the time....pushing the metro-sexual on TV, all the heros in shows are women now. Tfhe only role modle for men anymore are bikers or office wimp ass nerds. What happened to role modles like John Wayne, Clint Eastwood or Audy Murphy?
Still love that line from True Grit; "Ned, come back peaceful like. I'll see to it, you get a fair trial and a decent hang'n".

Axe body spray anyone?
Corporate america is trying to turn us into girls so we have to buy a ton of s***. They are trying to create a new market, and I think they are slowing winning

Men who in anyway let their wives or girl friends dictate if and when they fly.

I'm good on all fronts except that there is NO way I am changing the oil on the corvette. I'm a man not a contortionist and I don't have a lift in my garage.
I am also sketchy on electrical wiring, but I will do something simple like fixtures.

Kind of ironic as on a different thread I simply called bs on a story posted from Craigslist and got called an ass for doing so....what would Clint do

When I moved to California from Canada I had a very good 4x4 with great snow/winter tires, almost brand new.
Had to argue with a guy at a chain up place to let me through without chains
although 2wd cars with summer tires and cable chains were fine

changing the oil on my isuzu is easy, i just crawl underneath, don't even have to jack it up...the motorcycle is even easier
my entertainment system consists of a Tv with rabbit ears.....if you can't hook that up, you should just go jump off a bridge....

I once owned a trouper. They were easy. Actually I loved that truck. I owned two and then they pussified the vehicles and make it look like a Ford Exploder.
I saw a lot of them in Costa Rica.

I put chains on all 4 wheels on my 4WD. It is like being on rails while everyone else is slipping and sliding.
