Would you want to see a HangGliding.org XC Camp Fly-In / Cross Country Clinic Week Long Event?

One where you could finally get a chance to meet face to face meet all our friends that appear here nearly every day?

One where serious people, seriously into XC, would provide seriously good Cross Country Coaching, advise and council?

If so, vote for the option you think would work out best.

I have one hanging on external factors in Guatemala in early March.

The next one, with Course Contents Schedule is up as an Outline, currently a work in progress at:
http://www.flyok.ca/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=635
Projected Cost, TBD, is $25.00

But my whole point was to NOT implicate that this was MY event.
That anyone, anywhere could host a similar one, on their own, at the place and time of their choosing.

Re the Proposed Cross Country Coaching Clinic
- The best help would be to have YOUR country added as a Nation to XC Contest.
Then, you are allowed to have a local, regional or National XC Camp using their system
- in which GPS users can choose individual tasks for themselves EVERY DAY, then download their tracks to the XC Camp on XContest, and at the end of the Fly-In clear winners are displayed.

Why I am a big fan of XContest.

PS:
Follow the list of Nations that are being added to XC Contest XC Leagues here.

Would one of you be interested in submitting this idea to the USHPA (etc.) Board of Directors?
- that the USA (etc.) be added to XContest as a Nation to support National and Regional XC Leagues in your country?

- I have already done so to the Canadian HPAC Bod.

REASON:
It is a requirement of XC World XContest that the national association applies to have their country added as a nation to XContest.
This is mandatory before an XC Camp Fly-In can be held, in order for your national and / or regional and / or local club's XC Camps would or could show up on XC World XContest.

Jest sows ya nose.

Tnx! Fried Ed.
Chilanko Bye.

Considering the ratio of good advice/examples to bad advice/examples... I hope you'll be stringent on who you select to coach these clinics?
