I remember that episode on David Letterman when Nicholas Cage said "I wanna be that guy" and thought to myself "yeah, I wanna be that guy, too!" But nothing happened after that.

That's one GREAT video! I hope Mr Cage gets a chance to see it.

Note: Aaron get VERY close to that other pilot at 3:30 in the video. Notice his shadow overlapping the other pilot's wing? Shocked Laughing mosh It was certainly all planed out. thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

Nice flying. Nick Cage (and leterman) are -for lack of better terms- airheads. It's a wonder to me how these do nothing celebs become so wonderful to the public eye.

Pilots on this board have mentioned that they show their non-pilot friends videos and pictures of hang gliding and the response is "uh, yeah, that's nice." Generally that's what I get, too.

Well, I've sent the link to this video to several people and the response from each has been similar. They loved it. Granted it is well done and kudos to Aaron for that, but what sets it apart from other HG media pieces is the intro segment with Nicholas Cage enthusiastically talking about the coolness factor of hang gliding.

Apparently that is what we need: a famous spokesperson.

I hope Mr. Cage calls Mr. Sweptson.
