Missus KnumbKnuts is raising hell about my not having disability insurance.
Problem is, my agent tells me I can't get it with the hang gliding included, so no go there.
Does anyone have any suggestions on this one? |

In a post on the old email list, Chris posted that he found 4 companies that would insure HG pilots.
His contact info is below. Maybe you can ping him then let others know what you found out.

Ohhh, thats like pulling up to a cop and ordering a beer. If you get one, your going to pay out (or in if you get to serve time) the A$$ for it!!
Actually I don't really know. Just what I imagine. Others on other forums (Oz report) have claimed they get it for a decent price. I'll see if I can find that again! |

Ironically,
Mrs. KK was damn near killed by a horse three years ago, but isn't about to stop seeing the horse until *she* gets disability insurance. |

mochamon, a while back they were the absolute shiesters of the insurance industry.
They may have changed, but I'm not taking that risk.
By a while back, I mean decades.
My source is a family member who is an agent with another company. |

Charles Wernig , that SG mentions is a PG'er and a good guy who understands the sport and the insureance industry, he worked real hard to get me a good deal on life insurance, I'd definately reccomend calling him for Life or dissability insureance for any pilot.
You'll find most all of them will insure you the question is how much extra will it cost?? probably anywhere from $2.50 per $1,000 to $10.00 per $1,000 extra |
