| When I flare, I'm hardly upright at all.... almost prone. You really don't need to be upright. Like Holger said, being prone makes it harder to move your feet forward (which you do NOT want to do) and keeps your weight to the rear which is where you want it to be when flaring... makes it much easier to push UP instead of out when you flare.

just out of curiosity, where did you pick up that harness... and was it made for you, or someone else?
One of the measurements in properly fitting a harness is a person's balance point. Some people have longer legs and shorter torsos, some have longer torsos but shorter legs... it's not a fair assumption that your 'balance point' is at your hips or waiste.
Anyone that custom measures a harness should take that measurement and relay it to the harness maker... who will then correctly position the harness mains, and that will allow you to easily rotate from upright to prone and back again.
That said, I agree that your position in those photos doesn't look bad at all. I recommend taking a flight and see if you can get someone to take a photo or video of you while on final, to see how upright you REALLY are... I think you'll be surprised. It's also proper flair technique (for no-step landings anyway) to have your legs a little behind you, rather then straight below you...
Having your leg loops loose WILL make it easier to get upright, but you will also be hanging LOWER, and this will mean you have less flair authority. Like CHassan said, for some people this isn't an issue, for others it makes it nearly impossible to stop the glider when flairing.
I say take a flight on it, either on the T hill or at your local site. Fly with wheels, and if anything makes you feel uncomfortable about your landing, land on the wheels. Not good for picking up chicks, but hey, you're sky pimp, shouldn't be a problem
I know quite a few people that like to obsess about their equipment when at home, but when they get to the hill and actually fly it, everything's great after all.
If it just doesn't feel right for ya... have your dealer, or Betty, work with you to fix the problem...
Let us know how it flies

Shouldn't he be hooking it to a hang glider before he tries something like that?

Skypimp
The next time you are at Ed levin. Let me know. Sat I have family duty but Sunday maybe (it would depend if we drive back that night or not.) Next weekend could work as well.
I was going to write something about the CG but Ryan got to the point.
I rather see it first hand and do I dare say do the touchy feely thingy.
I can probably get another friend to help out as well.
