I bought a new Digital Still camera (Canon SD850 IS) which has a super cool mode called "Stitch Assist" This makes it easy to take several pictures and later stitch them into one large panorama. Photoshop CS2 (and maybe older versions) has a feature to automatically combine several photos into a panorama image.
I made one of the E launch, Edwards launch, and the Oak Tree LZ at Elsinore. I plan on making one for every site I fly at, these are super cool and I would encourage you guys to make one for your flying site. They maybe they could be included in the wiki site guide
see attachments, the images are kind of large

Hey Dave,
Good job man, nice photos. I think including those in the site guide would be pretty cool. You've got 12 hours!

Campers,
Willard Peak, Utah
One mile high, eight miles across, solid rock.
Two miles from the peak (launch) to flat ground.
First snows of the Winter.
Canon Photostitch.

It's possible we will have another gathering there over Labor Day. Mark your calendar.

I love Panos!
I've been doing panos since the 70s, when I used scissors and tape to stitch images together.
Being a Photoshop user since 1989, I started doing digital panos in the early 90s.
I have a bunch that I'll try to dig out.
More recently, I'd snag flickr and webshots images from other people whenever I saw something that looked like I could stick it together.
Here's and unknown photog's group of McClure images that I put together.
