I came home from vacation on Sunday to find my new H2 card in the mail! So I went out on Monday to inaugurate it and had my best flight yet. The video is edited/shortened, I flew for about 90 minutes, longest flight yet.
Flying is a dream and I love it !!!

Awesome! There will come a day when you won't even set up when you think you will get less than an hour.........OK that is a lie. I still set up knowing I might beat the tug down! _________________ Airborne Climax 14 (C1)

There is an art, it says, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. … Clearly, it is this second part, the missing, which presents the difficulties. ~~~Douglas Adams |

Excellent flight and video. Those kinds flights early in your flying career, when you are constantly doing better than the one before and you become more in tune with your wing, will be some of your most memorable. _________________ Paul H

Excellent!! You looked super comfortable in the air, and nice flare to end your flight!! I was there the two days before, one overcast and rainy, the other blue, but both late afternoon soaring flights, that place turns ON in the afternoon (as long as you're high enough) at last you know what to do a little bit different next time
Keep it up and keep sending us your flight vids, it's always exciting reliving those milestone flights! _________________ U2 145

Thank you guys!
I started taking lessons at Highland Aerosports in March of this year - I was very serious about it and went every time the weather permitted...it surely can be frustrating at the beginning when you can only go when the conditions are perfect. I'm glad I made it through eventually (later than I thought but not too bad) - the window of flying opportunities has opened quite a bit now and I'm happy to be out there soaring the skies every change I get. I logged in 73 flights so far and looking forward to many more.
Next is Foot Launch lessons and hopefully I'll be launching off a mountain by the fall - that's my goal anyway...
I'm glad to have met many other pilots at Highland - looking forward to many years of flying and hanging out with other pilots in the Hang Gliding community. It's always nice to meet people with the same interests and views and so far everyone's been great.
Fly High, Be Free ! (I totally stole this saying, it's just perfect) _________________ Felix.

Awesome, that is a great first H2 flight, definitely. Can't wait until I'm riding thermals _________________ Dustin -
