It's another case of Watchus Interuptus. I tend to outfly my GoPro batteries even w/ the battery BacPac. I need to see whether the new firmware will allow the use of external power. I'm glad you appreciate a little good ole Cockney humour! I'm sorry I didn't ferret this one out back when helpful types were getting on my nerves. The joke still works.

My favorite comeback to, "You edited out the landing, blah, blah, blah...." was, "Well here's my landing right here": www.youtube.com/watch?v=aj1AGhdJB3A&t=3m41s

Easy now JD, who am I to criticize? I just don't like to be left hanging. popcorn Nobody has perfect landings every time. I have been waiting for someone to do an edit where they are clearly bouncing in on a bad approach and right at the point before impact they edit in a perfect no stepper from another day, and just wait for people to comment. Laughing

I think that would be a good thread.

Nah, I wasn't referring to you amigo. I was trying to make a reference to an aspect of the 'culture' of this forum and certain 'attitudes' that needed to be squelched or at least receive a good mocking. The last time I posted that clip it did the job but someone recently revived that 'attitude'.

Once again, the difficulties of posting written responses that multiple people read differently because we're not all in person, sitting around the LZ together where we can see and hear each other.

That would be a very interesting thread. I had a similar idea, to take a pile-in landing scene and swap in an obvious replacement from another flight. Better yet, maybe I'll take a good landing and edit in a real bad whack. Laughing

yes, I can see you are very professional, but there was that double pump and throwing the feet forward that tells a glider to seek the ground nose first. I'm sure it was your intent to stick your face in the dirt. I would expect nothing more from a real pro. ROFL surrender
