As I said, given the alternatives (Mitt or Newt), I'm rolling with Barack as the lesser evil. Your boy Ron is a non-starter and won't even be on the ballot for the 2012 election so pick your own poison and save your sarcasm for someone else.

Obama is a KNOWN evil. At least if you choose the OTHER corporate puppet they may not do as much damage as Obama has. Obama has already proven he is more than willing to do serious damage and lock us up forever.
Of course, the real issue is, the puppet masters has everyone convinced that X, Y or Z can never win. So everyone votes for their puppets.
Stop throwing away your vote.
Its the same fear tactics that gets everyone to go to war.
Obama vs Romney or Newt is NOT a real election.

I will choose the KNOWN (and lesser IMO) evil and come November the country will be choosing between Mitt/Newt or Barack. BTW, I think Mitt/Newt are pretty well known commodities. You can spin it any way you want, but that's the way it's going to work out. Ron Paul won't run as an independent and won't be on the ballot. So pick your own poison and hope for the best (but plan for the worst).

I think people need to do a major push on existing idiots in washington to pass amendment that Kucinich is pushing to get money out of politics. Basically if people start ringing their representatives non stop they will feel a very strong pressure to vote for the amendment. If it passes, you'll start seeing better candidates on the ballot and can throw the current bums out of office cuz they will no longer be propelled by big money. Then again they may realize that without big money they are unelectable and vote against the amendment even under strong pressure from the voters.
BTW, some countries have on the ballot option "Nobody" or "Other". Allows people to show and cast a vote of disapproval. I think many skip voting all together cuz they don't like any of the choices.
Personally I think they are all idiots, the only thing I like is Ron Paul's foreign policy, but his domestic policy would be a disaster.

I'll admit the odds of this passing and being enforced are slim. AOPA, EAA, ICAS and other aviation organizations are fighting the entire user fee with some success. I also don't believe the administration INTENDS to tax hang gliders and paragliders. However, the way the proposal is currently written, it only exempts piston powered aircraft. It is an unintended consequence. Better to stop it now.
For those who think hang gliders are not aircraft, read FAR 1.1 Definitions: "Aircraft means a device that is used or intended to be used for flight in the air."
Even if you're still not convinced, look ahead to the days when your knees (like mine) won't take hang glider landings any more. Support the sailplane and balloon communities.

I voted for Obama last go
he has been highly disappointing in a few areas
-he has expanded the use of drone strikes in pakistan- another undeclared war
- he has used drones to assassinate US citizens that were never tried or charged with a crime
- he has signed into law indefinite detention of US citizens without charge or trial
-he hasn't tried to prosecute ANY of the criminals that created the financial collapse
-the TSA has only gotten worse
-the Patriot Act is still law
-he talks about the freedom to protest in Egypt but his administration orchestrates the nationwide crackdown on protestors and reporters during the Occupy movement
-while calling for another assault weapons ban because of deaths in mexico we are selling "assault weapons" to mexico
-his oppostion to the NDAA wasn't that it violated Americans consitution rights to know the charges against them.......but that it didn't give Him enough power

Exactly the same... you'll get no argument for me. Dont mistaken my Obama bashing for GOP support, its not. Ill bash every big money candidate put forth, on either side.
But lets face it....
Obama extended the Patriot Act.
He signed the NDAA, with indefinite detention of american citizens.
He merely alleged a citizen was a terrorist and then had him KILLED. No due to process, no court, no proof, nada.
He took more money from Wall st than any president in history.
He has had the most aggressive administration when it comes to whistle blowers and punishes the hell out of them.
His administration argued that attaching GPS devices to citizens cars was not a search and did not require a warrant. The supreme court just shot that down, wheeew!
He sold out to big pharma on the healthcare plan.
Were still at war, and only exited Iraq on the timeline Bush signed.... no earlier.
I could go on forever. Some people are saying Obama is one of the best GOP guys ever, LOL.
He spoke about the violence against protesters in Egypt, while ignoring our own people getting beat and sprayed here.
If you really think Obama is any better than Bush, youve been watching too much TV.
They are on the same team along with Romney, and Newt and every candidate the big money is pushing.
The american public, AGAIN, will be tricked to vote for the big money candidate, either Obama Romney or Newt.
This whole thing is a facade, and im pissed about it.
I cant blame people for voting for Obama..... at least he was a wild card on the surface, but unfortunately turned out to be another rights destroying puppet.
