| Write your State Senator and express your opinion. This country and its leaders should have bigger and pore pressing concerns that to criminalize such behavior. |

There was a case like this about 250 years ago......i'll see if i can find it.............its a shining example of jury nullification

| The most famous nullification case is the 1735 trial of John Peter Zenger, charged with printing seditious libels of the Governor of the Colony of New York, William Cosby. Despite the fact that Zenger clearly printed the alleged libels (the only issue the court said the jury was free to decide, as the court deemed the truth or falsity of the statements to be irrelevant), the jury nonetheless returned a verdict of "Not Guilty." |

now this would have been so much better if you had found a video of this on youtube and embeded it. that way we could view it over and over making it THE most watched embeded video ever, wich would mean the pure idea of the argument would collapse in a huge pile of rubish with those persuing it knowing they will never enforce it.
surley though just a disclaimer on your vids saying please post anywhere. ot youtube can include this in there membership. _________________ fly2 tandem (aerowtow training)

One could argue that the act of uploading a video to youtube is permission in itself to link to that video. After all, what is youtube anyway but a public library of free videos available to any and all to view. _________________ Freedom 170 FR |

...assuming that the person doing the uploading in fact owns the copyright on the video...which I'm vaguely suspecting might be the problem.
It sounds like this could be solved by placing a short copyright notice and Creative Commons statement (indicating what level of Creative Commons license applies) at the beginning of every video that you upload and mark as public. Then, people know that they can safely link and embed. It might not be a bad idea even without this law. (I've marked a lot of my flickr photos with Creative Commons licenses.) _________________ formerly Airwave Calypso
