Hi people.
I am sitting here kinda Shell Shocked. I am haere at my House, that is located not 100 yards from the main Mt Diablo LZ. I had no pilots here all day. There was high Clouds, but no rain. Nothing. By the way flying in rhe rain IS legal at Mt Diablo. Question: How do You call yourself a Pilot, when you refuse to fly on a day when it is flyable? So, if you are a Pilot who could have flown, and choose not to. Please go to a Mirror and say these words " I am a Hang Glider Pilot, I choose not to fly today. I am fully aware of the reason why. I____________ say your name. I suck!!!!! |

i have had that happen to me a times at a great site with great conditions and no pilots show, thats when you get to test things out and not have to worry about running into anyone

It happens at the Fort a lot too. People are picky and have weird ideas about what a good day is, and I end up flying alone a lot, wondering where everyone is.

IT'S O.K., breath....it's normal don't panic. Here at King mtn during early spring and fall, I can't keep up with the flying days, no one is around, no one passing by. The two pilots that do live here h(him and I) during the flying months are all sitting in the shade looking at the cloud streets all most everyday. The evenings are most captivating. If you have the king mtn route guide, look at the cloud streets when John shot each route, typical.......wo is me...wo. Tomorrow we shall fly again. Sip the home brew...now relax. IT'S O.K.
