I will have bagels and cream cheese. Also coffee. with luck in time for the meeting. sleep

chicken and beef tacos for lunch. Nothing fancy. We will have bbq.

I was not planning on beer.

Noman and Crvalley were on launch when the incident occoured. I also understand they were there to assist and stabalize the pilot.

I don't want to speculate on any details?

Hopefully Crvalley, Noman, or anyone else who was closest to the incident can elaborate in more detail.

We all wish this pilot a smooth recovery.

I just spoke w/ crvalley. The incident had nothing to do w/ the speed gliding event. It was not a blown launch either. It was a pilot who has not flown in a while. It happened 3 minutes into his flight while he was scratching too close to the hillside. He's doing fine and the medi-vac was a precaution. He's fully lucid and recalls the crash. So no brain damage.

And to answer the burning question in everyone's miod: The Falcon will need some new parts.

Chris says the first round was successful and there were many very good runs. Can't give away too much detail. Hint, hint, bang.

We had a great time today. Weather was good during the morning. The afternoon got a bit active so they called it after the first run.

I only took a few pictures but here are two.

(Yes, the incident happened to someone not in the event just fun flying after the event had been called for the day. I didn't see it so I can't comment any more than that.)
