So great of you to share the experiences of your path to recovery. You remind me of my Dad who's 88 and fighting Parkinsons. No complaints, he just keeps trucking. When he falls down he just finds a way to get up. He simply relishes being alive no matter what he's going through. You both are inspirations. Hope to share some air with you some day - it will be a privilege. _________________ U2 160 • Chattaroy, WA - USA |

Doug,
Great to hear your up and walking again. I know you will be back in the air with us shortly. Hopefully we can do Sedona again when you're able and I can chase you and KM next time along with brother Chris.
I know you will keep pushing hard and growing strong. Sending healing vibes your way from all the Wingers up here in N. Ca.

Next time they lower you onto the treadmill, tell'm you want a speed bar with
that to hold onto.
Baby steps, my friend, baby steps. Don't worry about the depends thing either.
Wish I would have had those in a few flights that ended in a somewhat soiled
harness. Darn mexican food. Pain is good Doug, let's you know you're still alive. _________________ H-4 (1976) UP Saturn 147 & UP Axis 13

Doug,
It was great to see you last night. I hope I didn't stay too late.
I was really glad to see your post tonight about how you have regained some feeling in the bottom of your foot. Fantastic!
Also good news that your insurance permits you to stay longer since that is what you wanted. I am sure that you will continue to amaze the team there with your determination hard work and recovery progress. Thank you for sharing the updates with us even though you are tired at the end of the day.
So glad to see you fighting brother! _________________ Dan V.
