If that Santana vid is from 1982, that's a REALLY early PRS guitar, possibly the first one that Paul Reed Smith made to give to Carlos Santana with hopes of getting his endorsement.
Oh, Oh Oh. Awesome. Oh, memory lane for sure. Thank you EVER so much for this one. Did Payote Mescaline as a teenager first time I heard this ??? how many centeries ago now. ??? Now that was a trip, even better than OZ, but not, not a not.
I rated your post a for real It reminded me of: NEW Update: Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven Medley (Live Earls Court 1975) - http://www.ledzeppelin.com/

LOL, I hear ya Fred. I was trying to think of old favorites from my FAR past that were little known and huge classics. King Crimson was my first thought!
Here's another little known oldie.

Anyone up for some Nilsson Shmilsson? This song came out when I was going thru my teenage growing pains and it touched a nerve. Sappy as hell and it's gone thru numerous remakes but nobody did it as well as Harry Nilsson.
Sorry, but I had to put one more Harry up. Turn up the bass and volume. This has the required drum solo that all music back then needed to be successful.
What was THE drum solo that every kid had to be able to play on their desk at school in the early 70's? I drove my mom crazy practicing this on a set of ludwigs in the basement. This song is sooo long that it has to be downloaded in 2 segments. The original is over 17 minutes long.
