This was my favorite toy as a kid. This was my all time absolute favorite toy in the world. It was donated to my mothers day care school where she worked. And we never parted for years. I still remember pulling that bike out of that box of used toys like it were yesterday. The stunt cycle!!!
I loved my beanie babies. I could sit there for hours and dream up little worlds with them. I must've had at least 25. :p
Right on Kraine, thanks for sharing. This post has nothing to do with flying, but hey, shows that we are kids at heart. _________________ Always a student.

Wooden blocks. Still have 'em -- they get pulled out when my nieces come to visit.

Superman and Batman costumes. My Mum and Grandmother made them for us. Measured us up while we slept and they were hung out for us (my brother and I) when we woke up christmas morning. I can still see them hanging there, clear as day.
My Mum gave us a very boring lecture that we couldn't fly, no matter what we were wearing. How wrong that turned out to be (her only ever mistake). Now I wear wings and fly like superman about twice a month.
There is an art, it says, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. … Clearly, it is this second part, the missing, which presents the difficulties. ~~~Douglas Adams
what a fun thread Day , unfortunately i can't remember that far back , but i do remember i had a great youth and had a great time with fun toys . my memory is starting to kick in . i had a race car set that i built up over time with extra track , it was fun to watch it grow into quite a roadway !
i hope this thread grows like my race car set . it will be fun ! _________________ Explore nature from the eyes of an Eagle

I used to have a whole collection of this stuff... so much cooler back then than the star wars toys are today!! Sadly my Millennium Falcon, while still at my parent's house, is in a sad state of disrepair.
I grew up in the woods of Tenn (hippie commune)...so not too many toys but lots of trees.....

My favorite toy was like CHassan's from age 4 to 8. It was called a sleek streak I think. But then I graduated to a more involved version of same toy ... story at http://www.flytandem.com/temp/wilf/wilf.htm
