Windlord, well thank you. I certainly ran into quite a few people on Saturday at the E-ville club meeting.
Bobfly, ha! Were you one of the guys on the first page in Wingspan34's post (to the right)?
I've got plenty of grit alright... like a freakin' sandblaster
I'd love to take a couple weeks to do that, but sadly my time is in short supply lately. It's probably better for me to take it slower anyhow, with the injury and all... I'm still paying for that first lesson on Saturday. Sometimes it takes me a while to heal from doing things like moving, or existing. C'est la vie, right?

Anadactyl-
Thanks for posting your mug! You are truly a pretty woman, and your eyes are stunning. You have upgraded the mug thread by gracing it with your presence. Welcome to the Sport of Wings!
Jed-
Your photo is great, looks like you landed on the Martian surface! Nice wing!

I should be around if we do not go down to Ecuador.
If you can, get a pic of the family for us and giver a post. My HP Photo program
allows me to "re-size" to email size, usually 640 X 420 or something close to that.

Hey there, Kathy and Andy! Glad to see you here on the mug thread, thanks for posting! Next time, you get the shirt, she doesn't.
Anadactyl-
Raise high your sceptre and smack it soundly on your supplicant's wriggling posteriors. Then fly a bit.

Mwa ha ha ha ha! Yes! Kneel humans!!!
Bwahahahaha *cough* *sputter* ahem... erm, that's right, fellow humans, prostrate yourselves before my glory! Your new Queen demands it! Look now upon the fate that awaits you should you not submit!
You shall be thrown to the sharks! Then beaten with a chair! Then you will EXPLODE!!!
(Humans do explode, right?)

Hi Little Wing.
When I'm not getting bonked on the head by the Queen I am happy to provide assistance.
First, get a picture of yourself and place it on your computer desk top. If you are on a pc, not a mac, I think they may call it your screen. I am a mac user, so bear with me. Know where that is in your files.
Then, when you are on the mug thread, hit reply. In your options on the reply page, beneath the big white box where you usually write things, there is a blue gray line (for pcs it may be auburn) that states: "Add an Attachment." Below that is a button that says:"Choose File". Hit that button. Then navigate in the box that appears till you get to the picture you want to post . Select it by highlighting it. In the lower right of that box then click on: "Choose."
The new box will disappear and the item you have chosen will appear in the box next to the "Choose File" button. Then click on "Add Attachment." The file should attach, though it may take a little while.
You are required to type something into the big white box to be allowed to post the picture. Do so. Next click on the "Submit" button. Voila! You have your mug posted on the post your mug thread!
Best of luck, give it a shot.
Lobido

Oh what the hell, Here's a picture Bob K took of myself and my uncle @ TPG.
my uncle is an H1(almost 2) and taking lessons with John Heiney.
(Edit- I think I should mention my uncle had and flew a hang glider in the late 70's without instruction from a small ski resort in NJ.(bell mountain) I think he was lucky to only break the glider, and is technically re-entering the sport after 30+ years......)

“Andy, Next time, you get the shirt, she doesn't.”
Libido, That kind of happened. I was checking out a place to fly out in AZ. All the trucks were gone and we were the only people on launch, just then my wife was attacked by a wild cactus defending its territory that she had unwittingly entered. I had to pull her shirt and bra off to get all the spines out. She was relieved that we were alone at launch so no one could see…I never told her about the two pilots that were turning circles just above us as I plucked out the spines...They never said anything so neather did I...
Now that I am no longer working I am getting to look around at some of the threads in here. There are threads with some funny chit , good chit, others with bad chit and some that just plain wrong chit (SG, where did you find some of those pictures…I want copies!)

Lobido, I am a mac user. Anyhow, I understand how to attach a file, but I was really interested in learning how to embed the photo in my message. I was reading the wiki instructions, but it seems that I may only be able to embed a photo if it is on the internet? I may keep trying.

Here's a screenshot
You normally have to scroll down to see the "Add an Attachment" area.
Click browse, select the file and then click add attachement and submit
That will embed the image in your post. I guess it should say "embed" rather than "attach" but that's how you do it.
Cheers Jason =:)
