Yes The Finger Lakes area is very pretty with at least twenty lakes spread out like four hands with the fingers being the high points which are up to 1,100 feet and of coarse the low points are the lakes and some of them are very deep also. Kueka Lake is 600 feet deep and that is the one which we see from Hammondsport. You All come fly with us sometime.

Bob

Great story and write up Bob! But what happened to pictures from Tuesday? I know you didn't have your camera with you, but did Maureen get some ground to sky shots?

I was looking at my video from my flight on Tuesday and maybe I can get some "screen captures" and post them here.

In the mean time, here's some I took on Monday at Katydid (after getting back up top after my sled run cuss ) -

#1 Ed Jowett over launch at Katydid

#2 Bob Grant waiting to launch

#3 Bob Grant launching

#4 Linda S out in front at Katydid

Bob,

That shot of Keuka Lake is great. You can just about see all the way to the north end of the lake. BTW folks, that's 27 miles. thumbsup

I regret missing that day!
