#1 |
The 2009 Big Springs Hang Gliding Meet will be featured on October 18th on Good Morning America. We hope everyone can tune in to see Hang gliding on a national broadcast. The piece features top American pilots as they relate why hang gliding is such an amazing endeavor. There will also be a short story with photos on ABCnews.com. The production of this segment was made possible by the United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association, the city of Big Springs, Texas, and the Foundation for Free Flight. Also, a big thanks to all the pilots in the meet, the organizers, and everyone who helped make the production happen!
Hope you can tune in and tell everyone you know to watch!

It's good to see USHPA's stepping up to promote the sport! _________________ Ryan Voight

Nickg
Where did you see this at? I looked for the GMA Weekend addition coming up but didn't see anything anywhere about this one. I was hoping to read something about it.
Thanks

the only thing on the website is what has run...not what will run. USHPA helped produce this segment so we have heard from the producers at GMA about it.
Please tune in!
and thanks again to all who made this possible. |

USHPA is doing something to promote hang gliding? That's a new one.
I could have sworn that one RD or another has said that the USHPA is not in the business of promoting hang gliding.
Thanks for the heads up, Nick. _________________ WW 141 Fusion SP
