The "June Gloom" is lame big time...is there anywhere in So Cal to fly this weekend that is not socked in?
Perhaps I should escape to Dunlap..sure is a long drive though.

dunlap is in the sierras... high clouds are pretty likely and the sierras do wierd things in otherwise "normal" patterns.
Torrey has been consistently flyable, it seems. |

Unfortunately Torrey is a no go for me. Maybe some of the sites in the Tehachapi area? Might give some of the locals there a call.
Yesterday actually looked pretty good along the east Sierra and desert near Ridgecrest. Garlock would probably have been good...today looks like a little more high clouds and higher level west winds though and probably not worth the drive up there.
Man...this is driving me nuts. _________________ We, the People, are tyrants. |

| You guys should head out to Laguna or Horse. At least were you guys live you see the sun once in a while. But "it's always darkest before the dawn". |

| Why not Garlock? Granted, the winds look a little problematic this weekend, but that, of course, isn't always the case. |

Sunday looks like a possible Garlock day if anyone is interested (and has a 4x4...wife has mine and is in Mississippi). I can probably scare up a driver. Will provide beer.
