Thanks, it was a vid cap from a Pentax Optio A10, takes much better stills than this vidcap...
. |
One more question... Where's the Camera mounted in that picture? Xbar leading edge junction?
The pic has nice proportions pilot, wing, landscape all just right.
Thanks,
Gregg

Aren't alot of the those Pentax cameras about the only ones that still come with a remote or optional remote? How about the Optio A10 does it have a remote?
By "Vidcap " you mean you were shooting in video mode and once on your computer you grabbed a still photo out of the video, is that correct?
|
Gregg, The Optio A10 does have optional Infrared Remote, about $35 from amazon works well most of the time, I set the camera for 10 second delay so you dont see me pointing the remote at the camera...Yes it was in video mode and I captured one frame..
The mount I use is a vario mount and it is mounted to the sprog just about where the zipper ends, I use a bungee to tie it on just in case..

Thanks IcRus,
looks like a good camera setup. Its impossible to find a remote on a camera nowdays, Those Pentaxs seem to be about the only ones.

I use HP Photosmart program. From it's original size, I reduce the pic down
to the email size, usually 640x477 somewhere along that. The web/blog size
of 320x238 ends up being too small and not very tight.

These are two of my babys. Haven't flown the Areos Combat II 14 yet but I imagine it to be a little quicker than the Moyes Sonic 190vg. Also have an Airborne Sting 154 which is a real joy to fly being a good alrounder. Next on the shopping list will have to be a slippery harness, mine is as aerodynamic as a wheelbarrow full of umbrellas.

Hey Bondy!
You should get on the Aeros Combat2 14 as soon as possible! Same as my old wing. You will definitely not regret the change. Its freakin sweet.

Your right, it's an awsome wing, took it for a couple of flights at easter on the coast and had the others drooling over it. Nearly killed me on first take off ( had the bar pulled in way too far and PIOed) but recovered, detuned it a little and the second flight was perfect. What are you flying now?
Nice matching colours on the T2 , looks a good place to fly, great shot

After 4 years and almost 600 post I am leaving this forum due to personal attacks. This forum has turned very hostile with 5-6 users harrassing others just for the sake of it. The forum lacks moderation so they noone's stopping them.
I am out of here!
