Base is more like the door to the White Room. Sounds eerily similar to Room 101.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.
I can do that without even setting up my hang glider............ _________________ Insanity - Doing the same thing the same way and expecting different results.

The term Cloud Base has well, lets say I kind of stigma to it. So I was thinking lets call it..." Getting to the fog layer." What do you think?

I call it........ "Home"......

I like 'fog layer'... I was skiing yesterday, and the middle of the mountain was in a cloud. The top was above the cloud, and the bottom was below. Every time we went into the cloud someone would comment or joke about how foggy it was.
I began to ponder... a cloud is a cloud when it's in the sky, and fog is a cloud when it's on the ground... but was this fog or a cloud we were skiing in?
I came to the conclusion that it's only fog when it's as low as it can go, on the ground. Since we were going up INTO this cloud, it was most certainly a cloud.
But it was fascinating to me the way ground-bound people didn't decipher between 'fog' and 'cloud'. To them, if they were in it and couldn't see, it was 'fog'... let's be more wuffo-friendly and adopt 'fog layer', they'll understand that.
Plus, if the FAA ever asks, you can honestly tell them you don't think you were in the cloud, but you're a little foggy on it _________________ Ryan Voight

"white room" is also a ski term, for powder days when the snow is coming up over your head and you can barely see where you're going, you're in the 'white room'.
If 'White Room' wins, that means both summer and winter I am constantly looking for the white room _________________ Ryan Voight
