For me, the biggest issue isn't launching, handling/flying, it's landing. And by landing, I don't mean the flare.... I mean the approach. I mean that slipping a turn on a sport 2, even VG off, things ...

And like I also said, it doesn't make a hell of a lot of difference as it's weight savings in the middle of the glider.

So it's more expense for little, if any, gain.

I don't recommend it.

I learned on a Pac Air Pulse 10M
A lovely glider for sure, but I would have done better to learn on a SS glider. Ya take what ya can get though right?
