Nice Rack! I always enjoy seeing the great ideas for racks, and diversity.

Coincidentally, I ran across a similar rack idea on the hyner (PA) list today ... this one done in red oak.

The front attachment is similar to yours ... it pokes up from between the hood and fender. This one uses a standard hinge that can stow under the hood.

Cool , but i don't think it can really fly , i think it's more like a propeled hovercraft (i want one )

Just hit the "quote" button in the top right corner of the particular post. It will automatically create a new post with the quoted post included. If you want only part of the post, then erase what you don't need from between the "quote" notations. Got it?

What's with the Park Official's claims that people have complained about close calls or near collisions between hang gliders and spectators. Has this actually happened?

Flipping Flying Fiend, the release is the standard barrel release.

i8- We do not use a turn around pulley. Starting off the scooter is simply much, much closer to the glider. Only after proving one's self to the instructor do you go full lenght tows. (With-out seeing a pulley used, I'm at a loss to comment.)

John is also re-converting his little 50cc Vespa to a training rig, the 250 will be for advanced students and recreation.

Has anyone ever had the line attatched to the keel (which in return is attached to the hand break relese gate)break?...If not what would your speculation be as a result ...!!!?

Would you instantly be thrusted inverted !!! (as you instantly are towing from the DT)!!!!?

Would you be able to tow and keep control long enough to release !!!?

If your not busy June 1-7, they may need volunteers to help with the East Coast Championship at Highland Aerosports. I wouldn't be surprised if you got a free tandem ride or two for your efforts.
