HG.org shirts re-order has been placed!

Ok, shelled out another $740 in advance for the t-shirt order. http://www.printmojo.com/HGShirts I talked to them about the thick/rubbery feel of the big logo on the back. They told me they put an extra layer of white down on the back before putting the blue ink down because the ink from BLACK t-shirts starts to bleed through over time. They said they could do a thinner layer of white on this batch so they are not quite as thick/rubbery thumbsup Tallied up all the shirt requests from the topics and padded them with a couple of shirts each. This order should get printed a lot faster since they already have the screens setup. Mr. GreenDiscuss

Idaho, Pickle Butte site has a problem - PLEASE HELP

FROM JOHN BARSNESS: My fellow pilots: I just received the following information from my cousin, a fellow pilot. There is a move afoot to erect a huge 745 foot guy wire supported tower at Pickle Butte. This would be the largest tower in the state of Idaho. There would be three sets of guy wires extending away from the tower. At this time, I am not sure exactly where on the Butte to tower would be placed; I believe it would be near the highest part of the Butte at the easterly end of our flying area. There is a link below with the spot indicated on the map, but I have not fully reviewed it yet. Regardless, between the tower and the guy wires, this would be a very dangerous obstacle. I phoned Lew Sanders at the Boise flight standards District safety office. Lew...(more)Discuss
